Social Media Community Guidelines
We want our social media platforms to remain places that promote positive exchanges. That's why we have created community guidelines that we kindly ask to respect.
When participating in discussions on our platforms, we ask you to always follow the following guidelines:
- Eldorado Gold is committed to respect, both among our team members and with external communities. This is one of our core values. For this reason, any content considered defamatory, offensive, racist, xenophobic, homophobic, sexist or otherwise reprehensible will be deleted without prior warning. The same applies to content using vulgar, obscene, profane, abusive or malicious language.
- In the same regards, any lack of respect toward our staff will not be tolerated.
- In Internet language, capital letters are equivalent to shouting and can be interpreted as a sign of aggressiveness. For this reason, messages containing a capitalized word, with the exception of acronyms, may be deleted.
- All comments are read and considered, so there is no need to repeat them. To this end, messages posted repeatedly will be deleted. The same goes for advertising and calls to action, as these have no place on our social media platforms.
- Eldorado Gold does not endorse the content shared by our communities on our social media platforms. In fact, we will correct any inaccurate or misleading information as soon as possible. You must also ensure that any content you post is authentic and does not violate anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights. Unsubstantiated speculation will not be tolerated.
- Discussions on our platforms are not anonymous. We reserve the right not to publish a comment or answer a question if there is any doubt about the identity of the user.
Finally, Eldorado Gold reserves the right to remove any comment and restrict access to any user who does not comply with these guidelines. These rules are subject to change without prior warning. Thank you for your understanding.
